    Quick-Start Guide for Suppliers

    Hey there, welcome to Scout! Scout RFP is a cloud-based e-procurement tool that many businesses use to streamline their procurement process.

    We've tried to make it as easy as possible for you to reply to your potential customers' RFXs, and want to make sure you're able to get up and running quickly! Use the following five-step guide to get going.


    Step 1: Get Invited

    Open your invitation email.

    Scout can be accessed by invitation only. Keep an eye out for an email invitation from either the Sourcing Manager on the RFx, or one of your teammates who has already been invited:



    Didn’t receive the email?

    If you don’t receive your invitation email, check your spam folder! We also recommend asking your IT team to whitelist our email address, scout@scoutrfp.com.


    Step 2: Sign Up for Scout

    Use your Invitation Email to sign up for Scout.

    Click the green View this RFx button in your Invitation Email to open the Scout Sign-Up page:


    Here, you can update your email address and contact information, and create your password!

    Click Next to get your Confirmation Email.


    Step 3: Confirm Your Account

    Use your Confirmation Email to finish the process.

    When you click Next on the Sign-Up page, your confirmation email will be sent to you. Click the green button to get started in Scout!



    Step 4: Open the RFx

    Open the RFx from your Scout homepage.

    Once you’ve logged in, you should find any RFxs to which you’ve been invited via Scout listed on your homepage.

    Click on the title of the RFx to open it:



    Prepare your response and invite teammates.

    When you open the RFx from your homepage, you’ll find that you can both review what the Sourcing Manager has provided, and begin preparing your response – all on the same webpage.


    Submit questions to the Sourcing Manager.

    Use Scout’s Message Center to ask questions and view common Q&As and other messages from the Sourcing Manager! Don’t worry, all your questions are confidential.



    Step 5: Ask for Help

    We provide you with US-based customer support from 9am to 9pm ET, Monday through Friday.


    Reach us via our in-app support form by clicking the Support button in the bottom right corner of your screen from any page within Scout: https://go.scoutrfp.com
